Be Proactive With Your Oral Health

Dr. Joel Singer and his team are dedicated to helping patients improve their oral health as well as their overall health. Dr. Odinsky practices holistic dentistry, which focuses on promoting overall health and wellness and looking at the signs your body is providing to determine what is causing the issues with your oral health. One way this is possible is when patients follow routine oral care. We typically see our patients twice a year, unlike general practitioners who typically only see patients once a year. This gives us the opportunity to talk with our patients about how they are feeling as well as anything they are noticing with both their oral health as well as their overall health.

Don’t Wait For a Problem

We recommend patients visit our office at least every six months, and some patients we recommend visit more frequently if they are receiving treatments for certain conditions like gum disease. Routine dental care allows our team to not only remove plaque and lingering bacteria in the mouth, but we can also inspect for other conditions as well as the early signs of tooth decay. Maintaining routine care allows our team to treat any problems in a timely fashion. Early detection always makes treatment easier and less complicated. If you wait for a problem to develop, the treatment plan can be more involved and more uncomfortable than if you were proactive with treatment.

Dental Issues Do Not Heal

Unfortunately, if we detect an area that we are monitoring in your mouth, the problem will not improve on its own. Dental decay only progresses. It does not go away without intervention from our team. Visiting our office as recommended allows our team to make treatment recommendations that are as minimally invasive as possible.
