Lily – Registered Dental Hygienist
I began my career in dentistry at the age of 18 as a dental assistant and graduated from Bergen Community College’s dental hygiene program in 1989. I have been working at the practice for over 20 years. With more than two decades of dental experience, I have gained a great understanding of dental fears and anxiety, and I am dedicated to helping patients through these challenges. Over the years, I’ve learned that being compassionate, truly listening, and making a patient feel safe and comfortable can turn a frightening experience into an educational and enjoyable one. It’s satisfying to know that my patients don’t feel like a number but part of our dental family.
My goal is to keep patients healthy by providing head and neck cancer screenings, periodontal screenings, and diagnostic imaging. I also use patient education and regular cleanings to prevent serious dental issues. For example, if I notice periodontal disease or infection, I work with the doctor to provide non-surgical therapy and partner with the patient to create a personalized home care routine that will aid in managing their condition. I work with our doctors to keep patients healthy and provide them with a lifetime of smiles.
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my husband, Jerry, my son, Cole, our dog, and our four bunnies.
Laurie – Registered Dental Assistant – Office Manager
For 20 years, I have been a registered dental assistant. I’ve been cross-trained in all aspects of our dental office, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked here for most of my career. My goal is to be honest, compassionate, and supportive to my team and especially our patients, whom I regard as part of my extended family. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my partner, John.
Antoinette – Dental Assistant
For over 9 years, I have been a dental assistant, completing all the necessary preparation at Fortis Institute in 2011. Through these years, I’ve worked with many great individuals and have been cross-trained in all aspects of dentistry. After taking some time off, I am very grateful to have found this practice in 2022. I have always had a passion for dentistry and truly enjoy watching patients’ smiles transform as they go through all types of procedures. I am happy to be part of this practice, working at the front desk and being able to meet all of our friendly and wonderful patients. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
